What do we name The Mire? Far in the Caldera's southwest lies a warm but lifeless marsh. Black, dead trees point at life that once dwelt there; but now its waters and air are both polluted. It is hard to breathe, there, and the water cannot be safely drunk--possibly tainted by the seismic activity beneath. Choose every option that you like.
